How to reach
To reach Shillong by Air, one has to take a flight to Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati, Assam. From there, one can reach Shillong in three hours by hiring Taxi or a shared Taxi. With limited flights and taxi service Shillong Airport is 32 km from the city.
The nearest railway station is Guwahati. From the railway station, one can travel by bus or shared taxi (approx. Rs. 500/- per passenger) to Shillong. It takes about 3 hours to reach Shillong.
From Guwahati Railway Station/ Airport, the taxi will drop you at Police Bazar. After reaching, one can hire local taxi to reach the venue (Hotel Pinewood).
