Frequently Asked Questions

Q.1: Is the registration fee per individual paper or participant?

A: Registration fee is per individual paper, and it includes "Conference kit, Lunch coupons and Banquet dinner".

Q. 2: How many manuscripts can be submitted from each registered ID?

A: There is no limit on submission of number of abstracts or full manuscripts through individual's ID. However, there is a limit on the number of presentations (oral and poster) by an individual and is two and one, respectively.

Q. 3: Should I submit abstract or full manuscript?

A: Any author can submit either abstract or full manuscript of a particular research work.

All accepted, registered and presented full manuscripts will be published in the Scopus Indexed Springer Proceedings Book Volume. Out of them some selected full manuscripts will be promoted for submission to the ICRIDME-2024 journal partners for further publication as per the respective journal norms.  Springer will conduct quality checks on the accepted full papers and only papers that pass these checks will be published.

Q. 4: Will the abstract get published?

A: All abstracts (abstract only & full manuscript abstracts) will be included in the "Book of Abstracts".  The abstract only submissions will not be published in the conference proceedings nor it will be referred to any other journal post conference.

Q. 5: Is there any format for submitting the abstract/full manuscript?

A: Yes, please click on the "Call for Papers" Tab on the navigation bar to get the appropriate template.

Q. 6: What is the maximum word/page limit for submission of abstract/full manuscript (full length paper)?

A: The maximum number of words for abstract only submission is limited to 2000 characters. The maximum page limit for full manuscript is 6 (SIX).

Q. 7: What is the deadline for submission?

A: The deadline for submission is 15th Aug, 2024.

Q. 8: How to submit the Abstract/Full Manuscript?

A: Please submit your work through tab "Call for Papers -> Abstract/Paper Submission", which is connected to “Microsoft Conference Management Toolkit (CMT)” .

Q. 9: Where can I find the details of my submission?

A: The details of your paper (paper number, title) mentioned in the “Microsoft Conference Management Toolkit (CMT)” Author Console page are final.

Q. 10: Am I allowed to present the paper online, e.g., Skype, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.?

A: Online mode of presentation is allowed only for foreign delegates. Presenting authors of the registered submission from India must present his / her work in-person during the conference. The app for conducting online mode will be notified later. Also, note that only presented papers are considered for publication in post conference proceedings.

Q. 11: Will the author present his / her work in the conference if he / she opts for abstract only submission?

A: Yes, the author will be invited to present his / her research work as an oral / poster presentation in the conference after due  review of the of the abstract and subsequent acceptance notification to the authors.

Q. 12: I am one of the author of an accepted paper. Can I attend the conference?

A: Yes, any author of an accepted paper can attend the conference. The delegate has to register for the conference through registration link. However, the delegate must choose the “No” option under “I am the presenting author” field in the registration form. The registration fee includes "Conference kit, Access to Conference Events, Lunch coupons and Banquet dinner". Certificate of Participation will be provided to such delegates.

Q. 13: How many accompanying persons are allowed to attend the conference?

A: Maximum 3 (THREE) accompanying persons are allowed along with a registered delegate. Please note that the registered delegate has to pay the fees for accompanying person(s) mentioned in the conference website. Accompanying person will have access to “Conference events, Lunch coupons and Banquet dinner". No certificate of participation will be provided to accompanying person.

Q. 14: Do I get accommodation for the conference?

A: Participants have to book for their own accommodation at Shillong. The conference organizers may  suggest some good hotels for the purpose.
